Hydro Jet Drain Cleaning (aka Water Jetting) is an effective and very efficient technique used in cleaning the downspouts, drains, pipes and sewer lines using a high-pressure hose to unclog debris and buildup that accumulates over time.
It’s normally done through a clean-out (an opening that allows plumbers to clean out clogs).
Water is forced down the drain where it pushes down any grease, mineral build-up, hair and any other debris through the drain.
Because the water pressure can be so powerful- a plumber will check the drain with a small camera to ensure that the pipe is not damaged and can withstand the force.
