This means that you should follow proper septic tank maintenance guidelines as closely as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tips On Proper Septic Tank Maintenance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the best tips to follow on how to properly maintain your septic tank in order to avoid as many problems as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sewer lines should be cleaned out every 18 &#8211; 22 months for optimal maintenance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In household of 4 or less residents, the septic tank should be inspected every 4 years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In households of 5 or more residents, the septic tank should be inspected every 2 years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Septic tanks should be pumped out every 3 to 5 years depending on the amount of usage. We recommend you speak with a professional plumber.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use cleaning products that are safe for your septic tank such as\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>CLR Calcium, Lime and Rust Remover<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seventh Generation Dish Liquid<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bissell Advanced Professional Spot and Stain + Oxy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seventh Generation All Purpose Natural Cleaner<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and many more.
